"I Like a Mama"

This may sound like a term of endearment at first.
The translation, however, is "I'm being like Mama".
We hear this a lot.
Fiona crosses her legs "like a Mama", dresses "like a Mama", and nurses her baby "like a Mama".
The cutest version of this happened when we were out for a walk a couple days ago.
Fiona had brought Elmo along and asked Daddy to help her be "like a Mama".
As she tried to stuff her little red monster into her tank top Daddy figured out what she was talking about.
We were just two Mamas with our babies wrapped tight.

I know someday she may cringe at the thought of being "like a Mama" so I'm enjoying it while I can.
Have a great weekend!
